Melbourne Blogging!

i went to Melbourne recently for the sake of a school music trip, i had the most amazing time of my life, through this trip i have begun to appreciate music much much more than previously because of how many performances i had attended during my time in Melbourne and it was so refreshing to see other people so immersed in their instrument and music that inspired me to not only continue to study music at a tertiary level but also inspired me to pick up my violin and learn it once again because i really miss being able to play it… 

Recently I’ve been very interested in the visual art side of the spectrum of creative arts and i think i am progressing very well and i can see myself studying art well into university. My friend at my school was telling me about this market stall she is setting up to sell some independent art of her own and from others around Australia and i asked if i could be included in this stall, she kindly agreed and we both began to get very excited about this. I am currently working on some things i could possibly set up for the stall and which pieces would most suit the audience that attend the markets in question. 

whilst in Melbourne i took many-a photograph and i am currently in the process of editing many of them, some are architectural composition and some have a very street photography atmosphere. I am very excited to begin editing them and getting my images out there. i am continuing my experiments with my film camera and i am always excited to see how they turned out after getting developed. 

i can feel that the year is progressing into a very art centered year, full of commissions, stall attending, and creating art, photography and music pieces for school assessments but also for enjoyment.
